We stayed a month at Howard Springs and could not have been happier. It is a little way out of Darwin but it’s an easy drive in. The staff were very friendly and so helpful with our fridge issues The amenities are great and kept spotless. …
We stopped in for 2 nights & were going to check into another park as we had booked it because it was closer to where we needed to be. Cancelled that booking and extended our stay at Howard springs to 2 weeks. We did not want to leave. 23ft van with so much space around us, green grass, palm trees, great amenities everywhere throughout the park, pools were beautiful with the bonus of spas in amongst the rocks. Kids loved the splash park, service station next door for gas bottles and other essentials, Howard springs tavern down the road with amazing meals in the dining room. Overall an amazing stay, grounds staff and cleaners work super hard to keep everything beautiful. 💯 enjoyable stay.
The double room with queen size bed was excellent and the air-conditioner worked well. Kitchette was adequate for a couple but microwave was showing its age.|We needed to install a power board to get sufficient outlets to charge our devices …
I didn’t really want to write this review. I thought I would give the management time to respond to my complaints, but despite true promises they have done nothing!!!
We stayed in cabin 32 for 2 weeks at the princely sum of $4700 for a 3 bedroom cabin.
At that price you expect things to work and the cabin to at least be cleaned!!
Not so…
Upon arrival we found the curtains hanging off their rails, two of the ceiling lights not working, the oven not working, the washing machine not working, the floor dirty and in dire need of a clean ( which we did!) only one smoke alarm working, and the lounge glass coffee table falling to bits, ready to smash at any time!
We informed the management about so of this and during the course of our two week stay they attempted and failed with some feeble repairs.
At the end of our stay we complained Again about all of this and they said they would get back to us within 24 hours…. It’s now been a week and counting and we have heard nothing!!!
Terrible facility and terrible service!!
We had a great stay, reception were lovely once we arrived, a little difficult to get hold of prior to arrival.
We had a nice shady site that was plenty big enough, was a tad awkward as the site boundaries weren’t clear but we just lined up between the trees.
Amenities were cleaned daily but being school holidays, they saw a lot of traffic. Much cleaner when kids aren’t around.
We loved cooking off in the pool and our dog loved the off leash area.
Water provided by office for drinking which we used, we had no illness during our 2 week stay and used all facilities and amenities.
Unfortunately, I was called asking for money when I had already paid the correct amount, the fact that there was no drinking water was a huge inconvenience, the splash park wasn't working for 2 of the days which the kids were disappointed about, the rec room was really dirty, I was sent a message about checking out by 10am a day too early and overall the place is pretty run down. Staying here was a luxury for us and cost us a fortune. We prefer free cos but decided to splurge because my mum was coming to visit. Disappointing 😞.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa for 2 weeks! Overall the park was quiet and Pool was good! Cabin was very small. Small TV. No couch to sit on only hard white chairs. The Cabin was very old and needs an update. Bathroom was small and needs an …
We liked the park. The reception team members were very efficient and friendly. They provided free bottled water as the general water is from a bore, but is fine. It is well laid out with good bitumen roads, except for one section which was patchy. It has well established shady vegetation throughout. Liked the separate shower rooms with toilet in first amenity block. Gold coin washing machines. Need cash as cards are useless to gains coins at reception. Friendly people staying there. Howard Springs shops 800m away that are very useful, including Post Office. Roads to Darwin CBD excellent, but a long drive. Happy experience over several days on powered site. Felt safe, although annoying boom gates are not in use. Recommend as a pleasant park.
